Planting Flowers

That's right! We finally took another small step into landscaping our huge yard. We planted 2 trees last fall and decided it was time for some flowers. So over memorial day weekend Lance and I spent our Saturday doing this.
We pulled up the grass from around our window wells. This was A LOT more difficult than it sounded. Thank goodness there wasn't a whole ton to do and we finally figured out a good system about half way through.

Then we tilled up all the dirt.

Lance put in this lovely boarder around the dirt.

And planted away.

Aren't they pretty?!? :)
