Pumpkin Patch and More!

Lance and I decided a couple weeks ago it was time for a new car. My car couldn't fit 2 car seats in it very easily and in preparation for the baby we decided it was time to upgrade. Thanks to my awesome cousin we found a great car, in our price range and purchased it last week. Thanks to KSL, we were able to post my car and sell it in 13 hours....8 of which we spent sleeping. Thank you KSL classifieds, we appreciate it! So we decided what better way to break in the new car then to drive it to Mesquite to see Lance's family. We actually had plan to go on the trip a month or so ago it just happened to fall on the same weekend we got the car, lucky us! So we headed to Mesquite but not until after Ryland and I spent the morning at the pumpkin patch. Ry loved running through the hay maze and looking at all the "scary pumpkins".

Ryland and Bryson in their matching vests!

He also enjoyed some quality cousin time.
Ryland and Kira

Ryland and McKaylee

All the cousins, nearly impossible to capture everyone looking...

We had a great time hanging out in the beautiful fall weather.
Lance and I left later that afternoon and had a great trip seeing his family. It was still nice and warm and Ry loved being able to go outside when he wanted. I failed big time at taking pictures this weekend. I know, horrible. I did get one of Ryland on his blow up bed. He loved playing on it and slept pretty well on it.

We also stopped on our way home at a park for a break to let Ry play. He LOVED the swings and probably did it for a good 20 minutes or so. Just see for yourself, he loves to swing.

Thanks to Grandma Jo and Papa Tom for letting us come and stay for a few days. We had a great time! Hopefully next time I will get more pictures! :)
On a side note...Ryland loves to wear my shoes and Lance's shoes. He tries them on several times a day and can actually walk pretty well in them now. Such a funny kid!

Amazing

Lance has always been a great "handyman". It is so nice to have a man around that can just look at something and be able to figure out what he needs to do. We got some wood from my brothers entertainment center, thanks chris and maria! It came in basically a pile that looked like this...

Lance just looked at it and already had the plan formulating in his head. It didn't take him long to turn the pile of wood into this....

And I LOVE it! We have needed space to put all our food storage and other items and this is the perfect solution. And because Lance is so handy it hardly cost us anything and Lance had it done in steller time. He also designed up these storage shelves last year which I failed to blog about.

Amazing, I know. I don't know how he just looks at it, designs it all in his head and then builds it! Thanks Lance! You do amazing work! And yes, I am sure you could hire him if you ever need some handy work done. He is that good! Love you!
