Little of this and that

We recently renewed our zoo pass over spring break. It was fun to be back as we haven't been there for quite sometime. We went with the entire population of the world it felt like, so busy! But still a good time. Thankfully there is a lot of space there! :) As big as the bears A train ride is a must when we go. The kids love it. Love my little cheeser We had to document the toothless cousins when we spent some time with Lances family as well. So cute. Our neighbor is a pediatric dentist. They opened up a new office a couple weeks ago and did a big open house. There was face painting, games, balloons, and free food. And of course their moose mascot. These were the kids not too scared (or too cool) to take a picture. We had a fun time there. We hit up the swimming pool over spring break too. It was so cold and rainy, we had to try and pretend it was warm at the indoor swimming pool. Love these goggle kids! Cohen lately has been obsessed with my sunglasses And hats. So cute! And Camden rarely goes to bed without a late night snack. I had to capture his fall asleep while eating an apple the other night. We helped out with a day of service in our community one Saturday as well. The boys were such a big help. Like seriously, great help. We helped clear the lagoon trail and it was dare I say a good time. Cohen was so fun to watch help pick up little sticks and carry them to the pile. It was a little chilly but the kids worked hard. So proud of them! We went and saw Nana and Pappy the other Sunday. The boys begged him for a ride in his big truck. They had such a fun time riding with him. I had to snap a picture of it! They love his truck! We also hit up the Family Night bees game on Monday. It was not crowded at all and a perfect night for baseball. It was so fun. The boys got to ride the train 3 times which I think is a record. There was hardly a line and they were so excited to just keep riding it. We meet the smiths grocery bag too. And these boys were in baseball heaven. Especially Ryland. This made his life. He loves baseball. And I love Cohen in this picture. Yep, loves the train. Such a fun night. The next morning we found a bird on our driveway that couldn't fly. Super random. Ryland found him when he went to get his baseball mit out of the car. The poor bird was laying in a pile of feathers but alive still. Lance was able to pick him up and we put him in a box. The poor bird was so scared of the kids but they loved watching him sit in is box and carrying him around. He hung out with us for a couple days and then we dropped him off at the Wildlife rehabilitation center to see if they could help him. Poor Cam tripped on the curb right before this picture. He got his knees pretty good. See, ouch! The boys can't wait to call and check up on the bird. Hopefully he will fly back here when he can. :)

Easter Weekend and Scott's wedding

We had a great and busy Easter weekend this year. My brother Scott married Whitney the Friday before Easter, the 25th of March. It was a great day and so so fun to have all our my family in town for it. We were only missing missionary Kim! They are a great couple and we are excited for them. Of course we have to try and get a picture of all the grand kids when we are together. That is getting to be quite challenging now! Love all these kids! The happy couple Thanks Maria for the pictures and this great one of Lance and I, I love it! And what a surprise to have the Emma Epps join us that weekend! It was so SO fun to see her and spend some time with her! Love that girl so much! Cohen loves Scott and Whitney SO much. He was the first one to run up and give them a hug after they walked out of the temple. So cute! We had a great day at the temple and a great time at the reception that evening. These five 5 year olds sure are growing up! We also had an easter egg hunt at mom and dads the next Saturday morning. We dyed eggs, hunted for eggs, and had a great time being together. Love this boy, he was so excited! Ready set go! Ryland scored some eggs Cam and Miles and Bubby Happy Easter! :) Happy kids! The Easter bunny visited our house while we were at Grandmas that morning. He left a jelly bean trail and filled all the baskets. It was a great Easter. The kids were so excited to try out the new pool. So we blew it up inside and they slept in it that night! Ha! :) So cute! We also got to help orchestrate this proposal this weekend as well. Love it! So happy for Derik and Aubree and can't wait for their wedding! Congrats guys!

Ryland Turns 7 and some stats

How is it possible my first born baby turned 7 in March? I still am in denial. Ryland has been nothing but a joy. We love him so much and the good big brother he is. He always lets Camden play with him and his friends. They are the best of friends and I am so glad they are so close. And Cohen adores everything Ryland does and wishes he was 7 just like him. Ry is good to play with him a lot. We celebrated by doing all things Ryland. He was so excited to open his gifts. Since his birthday was on Sunday we opened a few gifts on Saturday. He got lucky since Real Salt Lake was playing on the Saturday before his birthday so we got him a rsl shirt and Lance surprised him with tickets and took him to the game for his birthday. He loved every second of it. Love these guys! King of the Chair It was a beautiful day for the game! We went to pizza pie cafe for dinner with James and Ann after. Ryland and Benson share the same birthday so we celebrated with them on and off that weekend as well. Ryland was super excited to open the rest of his gifts Sunday Morning. All the boys were. He got a watch, some clothes and a bike lock. It was a fun celebration. We also got a visit from Uncle Richie. We were lucky he was in town while on his birthday! The boys all loved the star wars toy he brought. It was a big hit. Ry and Richie All the boys love him so much! We headed to James and Anns to celebrate with Benson and family that evening. We had a some ice cream and it was a fun time all around. The birthday boys. Ryland 7 Benson 3 Love the blowing out the candles action. He was spoiled again with gifts. And was happy to have Nana and Pappy join in the celebration! It was a great birthday weekend! I took both Ryland and Camden in to the doctor for their well checks and by way of stats, Ryland is now 86.8 pounds and 53 inches tall. He is a so solid, always has been. 100% for weight and 99% for height. Big boy, but we love our giant teddy bear. And for Camdens stats, he is 47.4 pounds and 44 inches tall. 84% on weight and 66 on height. He defiantly doesn't eat as much as Ryland. :) Even though he is smaller he keeps up really well! I am so blessed with such great boys and am excited to see what another year brings for them all!
