Halloween 2013

We have had a great time celebrating Halloween this year. It has been so fun to see both Ryland and Camden get into it so much this year. We joined my brother and his family and grandma and grandpa for the traditional pumpkin walk. It was such a fun year because it was not freezing cold!! I think it is the first year we were not wearing coats, hats, gloves and anything else to stay warm. It was a perfect night and we had great time. Here are some pictures from that fun event. All the kids ready to check out the pumpkins. Kellilyn and spiderman aka Ry Lance and Cam There is always so many pumpkins, it is great! The new addition to this year were these animated pumpkins. They were awesome! My cute little train conductor, he was super excited about the train pumpkins here! Love my little family! We got Lance back from a business trip just in time to help us carve up our pumpkin before Halloween. Our neighbors gave us the biggest pumpkin ever! Thankfully Lance was a good sport and carved this beauty. The boys thought it was sweet! They also painted up their little pumpkins. The boys were so glad to have daddy back! And of course we had to go out trick or treating halloween night. Spider man and the train conductor. Cam was so excited to check out his candy when he got back And of course line it up in a perfect little line. And then run over the line. Ha ha! Camden stopped a little earlier than Ryland and got 28 pieces. Ryland got 68 pieces. They had a great time trick or treating. Happy Halloween everyone!

Jazz Pre-season

We decided to hit up the jazz game the other night. It was pre-seasoon and we figured we would probably score some cheap tickets. We went downtown, found a ticket scalper and got 4 tickets for 20 bucks in the upper bowl. The boys were super excited to go and watch the jazz play. As we were walking around the upper bowl, an employee for the jazz came up to us and asked us if we would like to sit in the lower bowl? Um...yes please! He gave us 4 tickets for the 25th row and said had a nice evening! It was awesome, we totally got hooked up and the boys loved every second of it. Ryland is so into sports and loved watching them make baskets and trying to figure out the score and such. It was a fun night even if the jazz lost. I have a feeling we might have to get used to the jazz losing this season....! :( Lance and Ry Cam and my chubby pregnant face...lovely! Checking out the game Trying to get the bear to throw us a ball with no success! It was a great night and we were glad we went! Speaking of chubby pregnant faces, only 3 more weeks till we get to meet our little guy. We got the new crib all set up, and my mom and sisters spoiled us again with some awesome gifts. Ry and Cam have loved sleeping upstairs now too. We are super blessed and can't wait to meet the new addition!

Update....

Ryland was so sad to see soccer season end. He had a great year and can't wait until spring so he can play baseball or soccer again. This kid loves playing sports! I think he often times wishes he had a friend that loved sports as much as he does. He always wants to play soccer or baseball with them. Anyway, thanks to Lance for capturing this awesome picture of Ryland and his coach after he scored a goal. He scored 4 goals in this game and it was by far his favorite game of the season. He was rockin it! And after every goal he always ran straight to his coach for a high five. So cute! Look at that smile, he loves it! It was such a fun season! Ry and his coach and buddy Ausin Rylands favorite part at the end of the season is getting his medal! Good job Ry! And Camden waited all season to get his turn to kick the ball into the goal. Thanks to uncle Derik for taking him out to play around for a minute. He loved it. Cam can't wait till he is 3 and can take his turn out on the soccer field! A couple weekends ago Lance rode his bike in the Salt to Saint relay again. If you remember from last year, it is a race from Salt Lake to Saint George. They had 6 guys on their team this year and all ended up riding anywhere from about 60 to 100 miles each. He had a great time again and their team did great finishing in just about 25 hours. It was even better this year because my brother now lives in St George so Ann and I caravanned down to St George together on Friday. We hung out with my brother and family Friday night and went to finish line Saturday morning. And here they are crossing the finish line! They did a great job and only had one crash, we are glad you are okay James, and a little detour by a lost rider. Well done team! Cam was loving stealing the free drinks from Lance :) Lance and our neighbor friends Jason and Tyson who rode on the team with him. We then enjoyed the rest of our weekend in St. George. The kids had a blast playing with cousins and being together. We went to this splash pad gem, the boys loved it! Cam would have jumped in all day long! Ry, Eric and Thomas There was even a random spider man walking around. Yep, they thought that was amazing! We also went to this super fun park. The kids loved running around there. It was such a beautiful evening. These 3 boys had so much fun together. So cute! We were well fed and had a great weekend. Thanks Chris and Maria! We can't wait to make it down there again. On Sunday we went to see Grandma Jo and Papa Tom. It was great to hang out there and enjoy being with them. Grandma Jo bought Ryland his new favorite shirt. He would wear it everyday if I let him. They also loved playing with their pumpkin lights and hanging out. Such a fun, much needed relaxing weekend. And lastly Ryland was a great helper the other night helping me dry apples. He loved cranking the apple on this machine. And this machine is the best peeler, corer, and slicer ever. We have been enjoying some amazing dried apples. And dare I say he had a blast helping me. I mean look at the smile! Fun times!
