Summer fun

I can't believe summer is almost over!! It has been great and I am already sad thinking of saying goodbye to the lazy summer days again so soon. Here a few highlights of the last couple weeks. It seems we have been so busy, this blog has been slightly neglected! Anyway, the boys both passed swim lessons with flying colors. I was amazed at how much more Ryland could do this year than last. He is getting so much more comfortable in the water and I was happy with that. Camden did the mom and tot with me again this year and did great. He did so much more this year than he did last year so that was good. They both loved their teachers and can't wait to get back in the water again. Ryland with his teacher Hunter And Camden with his teacher Chelsea. They loved being the pool everyday for 2 weeks, it was great. We went to the davis county fair a few days ago. That was the first time I had been and it was great. They had elephants there this year and that was super fun. We watched the elephant show in the super hot sun. They were pretty talented, it was fun. We went with Mckaylee and her friend. Enjoying lunch The highlight for the boys was the diving dog competitions. They loved watching the dogs go for their toys in the water. It was pretty cool. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of that but they could have watched it all day long. This kid still cracks me up with how he sleeps. He is always doing something crazy! Love my little Camden And now we are on to another soccer season. Ry had his first game last night and loved it. He did great and was happy he scored a goal. Now he asks everyday if he has soccer again tonight. He can't wait to get back out on the field. Fun times! He was so intent on whatever his coach was saying. He always bent down right at his level like this every time! Here's to another fun season of soccer and enjoying the last few days of summer!

Bradley Family Reunion 2013

We had a great time at the Bradley reunion this year. We spent all day Friday boating up at Pineview. It was a blast! The water was perfect and it was a beautiful day. Ryland and Camden were both very nervous about getting on the boat when we told them what we were doing the night before. They both said they didn't want to ride on the boat. Thankfully once they saw the boat, they both quickly changed their minds and jumped right on and had a blast. Getting them to ride on the tube was a different story....but we will have to try again next year for that one! :) All of us plus Andrew! Ryland loved holding the flag up, oh and eating licorice! Camden's are you sure I am not going to fall out of this boat face! :) Love this boy! Ryland with Eric and Thomas Lance out on the tube with Thomas, Maria, and Eric, good times! It was also so nice to hang out on the beach playing in the water, sand, with the toys, and riding on the kayaks. Ryland and Camden both loved crusin around with people. So happy! Such a beautiful day on the lake. That is until about 4:00 that afternoon. The winds picked up and it all went down hill after that. We had 30 to 40 mph winds with no end in sight. It was all we could do to hurry and pack up everything before it blew away. It was crazy, the waves were insane, it took forever for Sharon to get her boat safely back to the boat ramp. The kids were all freaking out about the wind and were glad to get in the cars and leave. We were sad the fun had to end early but we decided Zarahemla would be a better place for dinner. We spent the night there, the boys loved using their headlamps in the dark. Kellilyn and Ry Camden Both the boys also loved sleeping in the tent and thankfully slept really well. It was a perfect night. The next day was full of games, crafts, relaxing, and tons of fun. It was so great to just be with family! Ryland loved playing ping pong with whoever would play with him. He would have done that all weekend and been perfectly happy. He remembered they had ping pong from the last time we were up there but it wasn't out yet. He came up to me and asked if we could pull out candy cane.....um...ya it took a while to figure out he was asking for ping pong but couldn't remember what it was called! Ha ha! He called it candy cane for half the weekend too, confused boy, it was funny! This little dude played so hard all day and crashed that afternoon. He was so tired! Family pictures are a must at reunions, right? Don't mind that we are all a little tired and camping looking here! :) All the Bradley family minus Scott on his mission and baby Rulon who was sleeping! Love all these people so much! And what better way to end a fun weekend then by running through the sprinklers. Ryland loved this! Seriously, this picture says it all! Best thing ever for him! Most of the kids had a blast together! It was a great reunion and we are already counting down till the next one! Thanks for the great time family!
