Sweet Summertime

Ryland's new favorite is.....swimming. He loves it. We were able to go twice last week, he can't get enough of it!
He is smiling on the inside in this picture! He really does love the water!
Looks like we will be spending our afternoons at the pool more often!
My baby is getting so big, where has all the time gone???
We took the head support out of his car seat this weekend. That was sad, here is his last picture with it in.
This is how we found him asleep this morning. Yes, he was breathing, he just likes to sleep with something to cover his eyes when it is light outside....just like his dad. Looks like we will have to move that blanket out if he is going to make a habit of that one! :) Do you like his collection of pacies (a.k.a. wos)? I think we are pretty covered on those for a while!
He is so fun and we are loving the warmth of summer! It is so nice to be able to get outside and enjoy the sun! And yes, he still has the biggest most awesome smile ever. So adorable!

Shaka Laka

This last weekend Lance and a lot of my family were able to run in the Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay. For those that don't know what that is, allow me to explain this to you. It is a 188 mile, 12 man relay race from Logan to Park City. Everyone ran 3 legs that ranged from about 3 to 8 or so miles long. They divided you up into 2 vans, with 6 runners in a van. The basic theme for the Ragnar is Run. Drive. Sleep. Repeat. You can find out more information on the race by visiting their site http://www.ragnarrelay.com/index.php.
So now that we got that all cleared up, this is what Lance spent this last weekend doing. Lance was in a van with my Dad, Jenny, Trevor, Natalie and his friend Bryce. They had a great time and did awesome. They finished with a time of 30 hours. Yep that's right 188 miles in 30 hours, not bad! You get to choose your own team name, they were Team Shaka Laka. Shaka Laka is a brand of lip balm. My brother James works in purchasing for them and these guys were kind enough to sponsor them for the race! Awesome, they were able to give away free lip balm to other runners which was a huge hit! We are hoping they will sponsor us again next year.  To find out more about shaka laka lip balm you can visit their site.  http://www.shakalakahut.com/
Here are some picture highlights.
Lance lookin good before his run. I just love this picture of him!
Some of the team! Shaka Laka love!
Here is Lance on one of his 3 runs.
More team, giving support along the run.
And of course the beautifully decorated van. It looked pretty sweet!
Team picture after the race, they all look pretty tired, but in good spirits! In case you were wondering, this is what it looks like after you have run 188 miles and slept only a couple of hours! :)
Ragnar 2010 here we come!!!

Adelaide Bryn

Yesterday Lance's sister Brenda had her baby. We are so excited for them and can't wait to meet her. She looks exactly like Brenda. Poor little girl has had a rough go at life already and we are keeping her in our prayers. What an adorable little girl Brenda and Luke, we wish you all the best!

4 Generations

We were also able to go and see Lance's Grandpa this last weekend. He is going to be the ripe old age of 97 on the 21st. Wowzers, I hope I can live to be that old. We were able to get a 4 generation picture while we were there. You have Lance's Grandpa, Lance's Dad, Lance, and Ryland. What good lookin group huh? They all look like each other too. Pretty cool!

Bowling in Style

This last weekend Lance, Ryland and I went bowling with Jenny and Trevor. They had some pretty sweet lights and music going on. We had a good time with them. We pretty much are professional bowlers now and should probably join a league! :)
This is Lance and his mad bowling skills!
These flamed bowling ball shoes really helped us up our game score!
Ryland had a good time bowling but was all tuckered out before we finished.

Tummy Time

This is how Ryland feels about tummy time!
That's right. You can fill in your own caption for this one.
