It's that time again

Ryland was due for another dreaded haircut again. His hair grows so fast, so fast! You may remember the last haircut didn't go so well. I am happy to say this time around seemed to be at least a little better. That was nice. Here are a couple before pictures, it was getting super long. I like all his hair though...

We only had a few faces like this....you can just see the terror in his face and how tense he is. He tried to enjoy an otter pop while we did it but was too busy trying to get away from Lance to eat much of it.

Look at all that hair. I am pretty sure he has enough to make a few small wigs. He probably feels a few pounds lighter without all that on his head.

We decided it was time to go for a buzz. Yep, its summer, nothing says summer like a buzz cut right?

I like it, I can't decided if I like the short or long better so good thing he gets to enjoy both! And as a side note, Camden thought my brother throwing this football the other day was hilarious. He was laughing so hard, it was adorable.

How can you not love the cute little baby laughs and these huge smiles. He is so happy!

And guess who is rolling over....

He has been for a couple weeks, I was just finally able to get it on movie. Camden is growing too fast! And Lance has been busy working on this for a couple weeks now....

More to come on that when he hopefully get it all complete by the end of this week! Yeah!

Independence Day (if I may a couple weeks late)

This summer has been crazy busy! I can't ever seem to catch up with everything I want to do. So if I may post a wee bit late about our 4th of July celebrations. We went to the parade on Saturday morning with Cindy and Maddie. It was super hot and they were troopers to join us with otter pops!

Ryland made out pretty good with a bag of candy, a ball and a flag. He loved watching the parade. It was fun.

Ryland and Maddie!

We let Camden enjoy the end of the parade in his stroller. It was way warm and hard to keep him out of the sun. He was much more protected in his stroller. Isn't he just the cutest?

After the parade, we headed up for the Bradley family reunion. It was a beautiful day to bring out the giant slip n slide again. Lance was nice enough to take Ryland down this slide a million times. He loved it, but refused to go by himself or with anyone but his Daddy. So Lance got a good work out for sure! They had fun together though. I love how you can see the water flying up in this picture.

Here they come...

I think they could have done this all day! While they were busy doing that, Camden was busy taking a nap with Grandpa! Love it!

The reunion was great and it was nice to get up in the mountains a little and enjoy some cool air.
On Monday, the actual 4th, we took it easy most of the day. We got together with my family that evening and enjoyed a yummy dinner and of course the famous flag cake. It tasted just as amazing as it looks.

We went to fireworks that night. Camden took a little snooze in his stroller when we got there.

Aw...

Family Picture

We had fun playing an awesome game of cross country starbursts. Just like cross country spoons only with starburst. Lance lit up some sparkers for the kids as well. They loved that.

Camden was loving chilling on the blanket watching everything going on.

Aren't I so lucky!

And these two are just getting to be so cute together. They are starting to play a little and Ryland has been so nice to him. He loves to help out his brother. Camden would look at Ryland all day and be entertained with whatever he is doing. He loves him.

The fireworks were amazing as usual. I was a little worried with how Ryland would do because he was getting really nervous as it started to get dark and people were doing fireworks all around us. He just didn't know what was going on. Once he got used to it and the actual fireworks started, he loved it. He kept saying "colors" and trying to name which fireworks was what color. It was fun. He loved sitting with his Daddy watching them.

Camden watched them all too. He didn't fall asleep like Ryland has done the past 2 years. It was a great celebration!

And I think this is my new favorite picture. Aren't these 2 so adorable! They are the best kids ever. Love them!

And now we are off to love more of this summer. It has been great!

Yellowstone Trip 2011

We took a trip to Yellowstone a couple weeks ago. It was a blast and a much needed get a way. It wasn't long, but just enough to have some fun and get away from life for a couple days. We drove up after Lance worked and stayed the night in Idaho Falls. We got in late but that didn't stop Ryland and Lance from taking a swim in the pool. Ry was so excited to finally get in the water.

The next morning after a yummy breakfast of froot loops

we hit the road for bear world in Rexburg. That was probably Rylands favorite part of trip. He was so excited to see the Bears! Lance and I had never been there so it was fun to see what it was all about. It was pretty cool. You are able to drive though the park in your cars as the bears roam free around you. And we saw a lot of bears, that is for sure!

It was cool to be so close to them. We even had one bear come up and eat some bugs right off the front of our car. Very cool. The park worker got out of his car and pet/fed some of the bears. They seemed so harmless as he was doing this, so crazy. Definitely not the same as a bear in the wild!

Ryland was terrified of this bear statue! He didn't want to go near it.

Checking out the baby bears!

Don't we look great as a little bear family! Ha ha!

We also feed the fish/ducks over this bridge.

And they had a small petting zoo that we walked though. Ryland tried to feed this deer a tree branch! :)

These little guys were completely terrified when Ryland came running over to them! They couldn't get away quick enough!

And they had a few amusement park rides that we went on. This was Rys first time on anything like that. He loved it! He wanted to go over and over, especially on this little train. You can see his hand waving to you in the front there. He loved sitting in the front best because he got to ring the bell.

Lance and Camden on the train.

Ryland and I on the spinning bear ride

Lance and Ry on the cars

Before we left, we drove around the bear park one more time. It was awesome, Ryland was so excited every time we saw a bear. It was a lot of fun. This guy here was checking out his giant paw, pretty steller huh?

Lots of bears, it was way cool.

Ryland probably could have stayed there the whole trip and been happy as can be. We had a great morning there and headed up to Yellowstone for the afternoon. The classic yellowstone picture!

Checking out some bison.

We were lucky enough to pull up to Old Faithful just as an eruption ended, so we had a while to wait for the next one to go off. They had a small hike that went around old faithful so we took that.

Ryland was glad to be out of the car running around and checking out the water.

It was a beautiful day!

After the hike we headed to get seats for Old Faithful.

Waiting for it to go off.

This little bird may have scored himself a couple of Rys goldfish. Opps....

My boys!

And good old Old Faithful erupted right on schedule. Amazing!

Ryland was holding Camdens hand while watching old faithful! So cute.

It was getting late and didn't take Ryland or Camden long to do this on our drive back to the hotel...

We spent the night eating pizza in our hotel room and swimming in the pool.

Ry and Cam having a great time.

They left mints on our pillows at the hotel room. Ryland was trying super hard to open this one as you can see from the movie. It was rather hilarious. And after all the work, we still didn't give him one, we are awesome parents huh?

It was a great first day of the trip! The next day we got up and went back into the park. We had a nice stall in traffic waiting for this guy to make his way out of the road.

And not too long after that, we parked to check out a waterfall and this happened.

It was crazy how many bison live in Yellowstone. We saw tons of them. We also saw the waterfall too!

We hiked to the lower and upper falls that day too. It was so beautiful. Ryland wanted to be carried on most of the hike, so that made things interesting. We still had a good time though.

Checking out the falls, the water was moving so fast.

Family picture!

Lance was nice enough to listen to this for a couple days straight. My child loves "his music". When he would go crazy in the car, we flip this on and he will for the most part calm down. He knows some of the songs and likes to sing along to them now too. Pretty cute. Thanks Lance, I know how much you "loved" this.

We spent the morning and part of the afternoon in yellowstone and then we headed back for home. So like I said, short trip but super fun. We had a great time and the boys did very well considering how much time we spent in the car. Thanks Lance for a great trip!
