The next morning after a yummy breakfast of froot loops
we hit the road for bear world in Rexburg. That was probably Rylands favorite part of trip. He was so excited to see the Bears! Lance and I had never been there so it was fun to see what it was all about. It was pretty cool. You are able to drive though the park in your cars as the bears roam free around you. And we saw a lot of bears, that is for sure!
It was cool to be so close to them. We even had one bear come up and eat some bugs right off the front of our car. Very cool. The park worker got out of his car and pet/fed some of the bears. They seemed so harmless as he was doing this, so crazy. Definitely not the same as a bear in the wild!
Ryland was terrified of this bear statue! He didn't want to go near it.
Checking out the baby bears!
Don't we look great as a little bear family! Ha ha!
We also feed the fish/ducks over this bridge.
And they had a small petting zoo that we walked though. Ryland tried to feed this deer a tree branch! :)
These little guys were completely terrified when Ryland came running over to them! They couldn't get away quick enough!
And they had a few amusement park rides that we went on. This was Rys first time on anything like that. He loved it! He wanted to go over and over, especially on this little train. You can see his hand waving to you in the front there. He loved sitting in the front best because he got to ring the bell.
Lance and Camden on the train.

Lance and Ry on the cars
Before we left, we drove around the bear park one more time. It was awesome, Ryland was so excited every time we saw a bear. It was a lot of fun. This guy here was checking out his giant paw, pretty steller huh?
Lots of bears, it was way cool.
Ryland probably could have stayed there the whole trip and been happy as can be. We had a great morning there and headed up to Yellowstone for the afternoon. The classic yellowstone picture!
Checking out some bison.
We were lucky enough to pull up to Old Faithful just as an eruption ended, so we had a while to wait for the next one to go off. They had a small hike that went around old faithful so we took that.
Ryland was glad to be out of the car running around and checking out the water.
It was a beautiful day!
After the hike we headed to get seats for Old Faithful.
Waiting for it to go off.
This little bird may have scored himself a couple of Rys goldfish. Opps....
My boys!
And good old Old Faithful erupted right on schedule. Amazing!
Ryland was holding Camdens hand while watching old faithful! So cute.
It was getting late and didn't take Ryland or Camden long to do this on our drive back to the hotel...
We spent the night eating pizza in our hotel room and swimming in the pool.
Ry and Cam having a great time.
They left mints on our pillows at the hotel room. Ryland was trying super hard to open this one as you can see from the movie. It was rather hilarious. And after all the work, we still didn't give him one, we are awesome parents huh?
It was a great first day of the trip! The next day we got up and went back into the park. We had a nice stall in traffic waiting for this guy to make his way out of the road.
And not too long after that, we parked to check out a waterfall and this happened.
It was crazy how many bison live in Yellowstone. We saw tons of them. We also saw the waterfall too!
We hiked to the lower and upper falls that day too. It was so beautiful. Ryland wanted to be carried on most of the hike, so that made things interesting. We still had a good time though.
Checking out the falls, the water was moving so fast.
Family picture!
Lance was nice enough to listen to this for a couple days straight. My child loves "his music". When he would go crazy in the car, we flip this on and he will for the most part calm down. He knows some of the songs and likes to sing along to them now too. Pretty cute. Thanks Lance, I know how much you "loved" this.
We spent the morning and part of the afternoon in yellowstone and then we headed back for home. So like I said, short trip but super fun. We had a great time and the boys did very well considering how much time we spent in the car. Thanks Lance for a great trip!

Wow! That looks like such an awesome trip. I love Yellowstone so much. And I never knew how much fun Bear World was. The locals up there don't think much of it. Thanks for sharing your fun adventure.
Looks like a fun trip. I had no idea Bear World was so cool either. We'll have to go check it out for sure sometime. I love the movie of Ryland trying to open that candy...and singing his song. He is such a funny boy.-Jenny
