Six Month Pictures

I finally got some pictures taken of Ryland at 6 months old. I know, I am very far from professional, but I wanted to just take a few of him at this age to have. They worked out pretty good for what I wanted, so I thought I would share. Enjoy!
His face is just so adorable here. He looks just like a little Lance!
Such a little cutie! I love him!
He started to get a little bored here....
This is Ryland's new thing. Yes, he does it all the time! :)
And of course this is how it ended.....
It was fun to take pictures of him and he did way awesome and let me get a ton before he started crying. He is such an awesome little boy. I could take pictures of him all day! :)

Dew Tour and Cousin Bill

This last weekend, Lance and I went to the Dew Tour. Lance got some free tickets so we figured it could be fun to check out. We were pretty sure we died and woke up in high school again once we got there, but it ended up being pretty sweet. We got to watch some skateboarding competitions and then we headed over to watch the bmx bike competition. They had a slight rain/wind delay so we waited forever for the bmx event to start! It was way cool once it started. I can't believe some of those things they can do on their bikes. Seriously, so insane! Here are some pictures from the event, it was fun. We left Ryland with Lance's dad, so it was nice to have a date together without the little one!
The skaters....
Watching the bmx dudes warm up
BMXin' it! They were pretty good! We were surrounded by a rain storm most of the night but luckily only got a few sprinkles on us!

I had to post this picture (love ya babe!) On saturday we were helping my brother and his wife make plum jam with my mom. Lance was so awesome to help us out with all of that work. And seriously look how cute the boys look in their aprons. I love it! How can you not love a man that cooks? :)
Ryalnd is now a master of being able to hold his own bottle and feed himself. That is nice, Lance did a great job teaching him that one!
And finally yesterday we were able to go to dinner with Lance's cousin Bill. I have never met him and Lance hasn't seen him in a very long time. It was really good to be able to enjoy dinner with him.
He is a great and Ryland absolutely loved him! We can't wait to get together with him again soon!

6 Months

Ryland turned 6 months old on Sunday. Seriously, 6 months already. He is getting so big and so fun. He learns something new everyday and it is so fun to watch him grow up. He now weighs and even 19 pounds and is 27 inches long. He rounds out in the 75%tile for his age, not too bad at all. He eats all kinds of food now, and loves anything we give him. He can roll over, sit up by himself, and can walk everywhere in his walker. He sleeps from about 8 or 9 at night until 7 in the morning (love that!!), and takes some pretty good naps during the day. He smiles all the time and has such a great laugh. He can say Dada, and loves to try and say anything we are saying. He loves to talk, just like his daddy! :) We love Ryland so much. I thought I would just put up some pictures of the last 6 months. Enjoy!
Brand New almost 1 day old
1 Week old
1 Month old
2 Months old
3 Months old
4 Months old
5 Months old
And finally 6 months old!
Wow, he has grown up a lot in just 6 short months. I need to take some better 6 month pictures, I haven't gotten to it yet. Ryland has had an endless runny nose the last couple of days. He already knows when I walk towards him with a tissue what is going to happen. He hurries and turns his face when he sees me coming....pretty smart kid! I will get some 6 month pictures done soon and put them up. For now, happy 6 months Ryland! We love you!

The Underdogs

This last weekend Lance went on a "guys trip" (plus mom and natalie) to the BYU vs Oklahoma game in Texas. Yes....I am still way jealous that he got to go. It would have been so awesome to have been there especially since they won! They left late thursday night and started the long drive to Texas and got there early Friday evening. I was not so much jealous of that way long car ride, that is for sure. After 21 hours I am sure my butt would be numb! They had many movies, snacks and video games to keep them entertained. This is pretty much what it looked like most of the way there. :) So exciting!!Saturday was the big game day. I am not going to lie to you.....we all thought they were going to get wasted, along with the whole rest of the world. They were playing at the new Dallas Cowboys stadium. Lance was way excited to get to see that stadium. It was way sweet. Here they are all walking to the game.
And here is the giant stadium. Wow!
Lance and his best friend Bryce in front of the stadium, ready to go in.
During the game, go BYU. Check out how huge the screen is. It goes from the 20 yard line to the 20 yard line on the other side of the field. Crazy! Look how much Red there is too. Oklahoma had way more tickets than BYU did. It was a full stadium of over 75,000 people.
The game was so intense and I am sure made the trip completely worth it for all of them. I am sure you all know the outcome by now. Wow! They won!
The final score displayed for all to see!
Look how happy they are all after they won! So great! Lance said the Oklahoma fans cleared out pretty quick so the only people left in the stadium were BYU fans. I am sure they all couldn't believe what just happened!
This movie is a little crazy but it is of the last knee BYU took to end the game. Lance and everyone was so excited, you can hardly understand what Lance is saying because his voice is pretty much gone. He was clearly way excited along with everyone else there. It would have been awesome to have been there.
Ryland and I missed Lance a lot, and we are so glad he made it home, but we are glad he got to have a good time with the guys! I still can't believe they pulled it off. What an upset! We hope this will be a great start to an awesome season. Go Cougars!
