This last weekend Lance went on a "guys trip" (plus mom and natalie) to the BYU vs Oklahoma game in Texas. Yes....I am still way jealous that he got to go. It would have been so awesome to have been there especially since they won! They left late thursday night and started the long drive to Texas and got there early Friday evening. I was not so much jealous of that way long car ride, that is for sure. After 21 hours I am sure my butt would be numb! They had many movies, snacks and video games to keep them entertained. This is pretty much what it looked like most of the way there. :) So exciting!!

Saturday was the big game day. I am not going to lie to you.....we all thought they were going to get wasted, along with the whole rest of the world. They were playing at the new Dallas Cowboys stadium. Lance was way excited to get to see that stadium. It was way sweet. Here they are all walking to the game.

And here is the giant stadium. Wow!

Lance and his best friend Bryce in front of the stadium, ready to go in.

During the game, go BYU. Check out how huge the screen is. It goes from the 20 yard line to the 20 yard line on the other side of the field. Crazy! Look how much Red there is too. Oklahoma had way more tickets than BYU did. It was a full stadium of over 75,000 people.

The game was so intense and I am sure made the trip completely worth it for all of them. I am sure you all know the outcome by now. Wow! They won!
The final score displayed for all to see!

Look how happy they are all after they won! So great! Lance said the Oklahoma fans cleared out pretty quick so the only people left in the stadium were BYU fans. I am sure they all couldn't believe what just happened!

This movie is a little crazy but it is of the last knee BYU took to end the game. Lance and everyone was so excited, you can hardly understand what Lance is saying because his voice is pretty much gone. He was clearly way excited along with everyone else there. It would have been awesome to have been there.
Ryland and I missed Lance a lot, and we are so glad he made it home, but we are glad he got to have a good time with the guys! I still can't believe they pulled it off. What an upset! We hope this will be a great start to an awesome season. Go Cougars!
