Sweet Summertime

Last weekend we had most of Lances family in town. It was super fun to spend a lot of cousin time together. Sweet little cousin Adelaide had surgery on Friday to repair her clef palate. Ryland didn't know what to do when we went to the zoo with all the cousins and she was not there. He loves going to the zoo with her. Anyway, it was fun to have Marie and James stay with us for a couple days. We also had wonderful dinner at Lances dads Friday night. Here are some highlight pictures. Nana and Maddie with Ry, Cam and Mason, so cute! Ryland and Auntie Rie Rie walking into the zoo. Ryland drove everywhere with Marie and James all weekend, if they were going where we were going, he couldn't wait to ride in their car. He had fun with them! Camden was super excited to go to the zoo. Love that little face! Cam, Lola and Ayla checking out the water in the seal exhibit. I am sure they were all wishing they could go for a swim! Ry, Ayla, Lisa, and Cam and the polar bear. Camden loved watching the bear. We finally got to see the bird show for the first time this year. It is super fun and the birds flew right over a heads a couple times. We had a good time. Ryland loved watching the show with James! It was a fun morning at the zoo. We went to see Adelaide and family that evening and she was doing so good. We were glad things went well. Ryland had his first soccer game on Tuesday night. He was so excited to play. Here he is in his gear before the game. Cam had to get in on the picture action too! Love my boys! It was hilarious to watch these 3 year olds play. They did a practice for the first half hour and then they played a game for the second half hour. Here Ryland is warming up. Ryland kept throwing out waves to all of us too, especially his sweet nursery teachers that came to watch him. He loves them and kept waving at them. So cute! His cute little team running to get warmed up. They were all adorable! He had fun playing the game. He did really well and scored 2 goals for the other team and one for his team! Ha ha, awesome right? He got confused because all the other kids were running and scoring in that goal so he thought that was were he was supposed to be too. He finally got the hang of it towards the end of the game. Here is a little movie of the action. You will see Ryland waiving to his nursery teacher after they score here. Such a funny kid! Cam wished he could be out playing but was good to sit in the stroller for most of the game. And I missed the best picture/video moment of the game when we came out of the half. Ryland got the ball and went down and scored a a goal. He then turned and waved at all of us watching. He was so proud. And ya, I missed it. So maybe next game! Lance is the coach for the team and he did great. It was fun watching him out on the field helping all the kids. He did really well with them. Here is Lance rolling the soccer ball to a boy on the team who was super shy and didn't want to come out and play. Lance was trying to help him and rolled the ball to him a few times in hopes to get him on the field. So cute! Ryland and Lance It was fun watching Ryland play and he said he had fun so it will be a fun few weeks of soccer. Ryland and his nursery teacher Rodger after the game! Rodger said lets make a funny face and it looks as though Ryland couldn't stop laughing at Rodgers face. They seriously are such good friends! Good job Ryland, can't wait for next week! And just because, I love this sweet boy and his awesome sleeping positions. So precious!
