Busy Week

This has been a way busy last couple of days. Last Friday, the 2nd of May, Lance graduated from the U of U. He graduated with a Bachelors Degree in International Studies. It is so exciting for him to finally be done. He finished in December, but they don't get to walk in until the Spring, so it was nice to finally be able to walk.
Lance also started his new job on Monday, the 5th, which also happens to be his birthday! It was an exciting day. He started his job with ADP, and things went great. He loves the company and can't wait to be done with training and be able to get to work. We were able to celebrate his birthday and graduation all in the same weekend. It was really fun. Happy Birthday Babe! We will keep you updated on the job, but so far things are fabulous, they already took us to the Bees Baseball game on friday night. They are a great company.
Also yesterday I found out that my great friend from high school, Lindsey Spjute, passed away while serving her mission in England from a heart attack. I was completely shocked by this news. Since Lance and I moved into Farmington, she ended up being in our stake. She spoke in stake conference last October, and how fun it was to hear how well she was doing and to catch up on her life. Her sister April is in my ward, and that is how we found out this news. Life is so short, and you just never know what a new day will bring. Lindsey was a great friend on mine through high school and I will never forget the many football games we attended together and the times we played laser tag at her house. My prayers are with her family at this time. And to all my friends out there, thank you for your influence on my life.
Enjoy the pictures from Lance's graduation. Good Job Lance! You are great! We are now on to bigger and better things in life!

I heard about Spjute too. I can't believe that! The scary part is that you can be healthy and still have a heart attack. You never know what could happen.
Congrats on being done with school. That is such a great feeling. PS I tried to call you the other weekend and realized your phone number had changed. I'll have to get that from you. Glad you guys are doing so well.
