We celebrated Camdens 3rd birthday on the 8th. My not so little guy is growing so fast. I can't believe he is already 3. We had a great time celebrating his birthday. Lances sister Lisa was in town the weekend of his birthday so we celebrated all weekend. We met Lisa and Brenda at Kangaroo Zoo Friday night. All the cousins loved jumping together, and it was so fun to see them all play together. We had a great time.
Cam even went down the giant slide. He felt cool!

Cam also got to open a birthday eve gift. He was SO excited about all his gifts.
He got a new firetruck shirt to wear for his birthday. Nailed it!
I thought I had a pretty fun idea to wake Cam up the morning of his birthday with balloons and singing. I saw it going a little differently in my head then what actually happened.
We let him sleep till almost nine but apparently that was not long enough still. Ha ha, it was a fun memory though and didn't take him long to cheer right up and be all smiles for his birthday. This is how Cohen felt about balloons. :) Poor kid had not seen those before.

We opened a few presents in the morning.
Then it was on to making the train cake. Cam was super excited about the train. He still loves them! It turned out pretty good. Cam was lovin his new backpack he got.
We had a small family gathering for a brunch. We sang happy birthday and had breakfast burritos with cinnamon and orange rolls. It was delicious!

Ry was nice enough to help him open up most of his gifts! :)
It was so fun to have Lisa in town and hang out with her cute kiddos. Liam is adorable!
Cam was spoiled and loved every minute of his party. We took him swimming after his party, here are the boys having some screen time before we left for the pool.
After swimming, we opened more gifts and skyped with Aunite Rie Rie and Wilson. He gave Rie Rie kisses! So cute. Cam also scored a jazz jersey for his birthday! Awesome!
And now we are all praying for spring so we can take this super fun stomp rocket to the outside to play with. Please come soon spring!
By way of 3 year stat info, Cam now weights 35 pounds (80%) and is 40" tall (95%). He is one big boy, but not as big as Ryland who was 42 pounds and 42 1/2 inches. I love my little Cam and I am so happy he is a happy, healthy boy. Happy Birthday Camden! We love you and can't wait to see what the next year brings for you.
