We had a great time celebrating Easter this year. The boys played with their Easter baskets everyday, which mostly consisted of them being on their heads in someway.
We got the boys new matching ties this year and they got to wear them a week early since we were going to be in Mesquite for Easter this year. They looked adorable, and yes it is impossible to get a decent shot of them together! Ha ha!
Ryland also gave his first talk in Primary that day as well. He was super excited about it. I didn't know if he would actually say anything, but he did great with Lances help. It was fun to watch him, can't believe how big he is getting!
And just because its random, Ryland asked to sleep under his bed the other night. Um...okay. He actually ended up falling asleep under there too. Crazy kid. We moved him back into his bed after he was asleep, and he hasn't done it again. Random!
And speaking of under beds, these 2 seem to hang out there quite frequently!
Moving on to Easter though. We drove down to Mesquite on Thursday afternoon to stay with Lances mom and some of his family. It was a great little trip, and we were super excited to enjoy some sun. Ryland of course had to bring his binoculars. He couldn't get enough of looking out his window at everything, especially finding the letters on the mountain.
We got to Mesquite just in time for dinner. We also got to see Auntie Rie Rie and Wilson. They gave Ryland this awesome Mater remote controlled car. They LOVED and still love this car. They spent so much time doing this while we were down there. It was nice and warm and so nice that they could play with it in the road because there are hardly any cars on their road.
Loving outside!
Rie Rie and Camden chasing after the car. They seriously would have done this all night! They were having a blast. Thanks for the great toy Marie and James!
We pulled out the pool Friday morning while Lance was golfing. The boys were in heaven, they haven't been swimming outside for a long winter! Grandma Jo was nice enough to bring out some warm water for the pool too so they stayed super warm and loved it. Ryland had some pretty sweet jump moves! Look at that air!
Fun times with Rie Rie and Wilson.
Cam got this bubble blower from his cousin Mason, he loved it. He was outside with Papa Tom and thought Papa blowing the bubbles away from him with a fly swatter was the greatest thing ever.
He was laughing so hard.
Check it out....
We went to their city Easter egg hunt on Saturday morning. It is so nice to there because there is only like half a million kids there instead of 5 million at the ones in utah! :) Okay so there was probably 50 or 60 kids there. So not that crowded so it is nice. We got to go with cousin Mason too. And once again hard to get a good shot of all of them especially when they are super excited about easter egg hunting. Cute boys though!
The loot of eggs all on the grass, ya, you can't really see them, but they had tons!
Searching for eggs!
Marie and Cam
Family Picture. Cam was much more interested in the eggs than saying cheese.
Ryland scored a number in one of his eggs so he got a bigger prize that consisted of a little car toy that has stamps and a bag of pretzel m&ms. The boys thought it was cool. And yes, Cam still can't get over the eggs and candy!
We went back to Grandma Jos for an amazing breakfast and then it was on to dying easter eggs. Picking out the best color
Love my little dude.
I didn't get a picture of the finished eggs, so sad. They looked amazing though! And speaking of not getting pictures, we took Ryland bowling that afternoon with Marie and James while Cam napped and yes, so sad, I forgot my camera. Marie got some great pictures that I still need to get from her so I will add them when I do. We had a blast bowling, Ryland loved it. He thought it was so cool to be hanging out with all of us. He did better than me too, yep, he is a good bowler and I stink but that is another story. We had fun. Grandma Jo got this cute cupcake cake for the March birthdays. She was nice enough to add Cam on it too since he just had his birthday in February.
The boys loved being sung too again and blowing out the candles. Looks like Ryland got most of them...thanks for sharing everyone!
Marie and Ryland. She is so good with the boys, they love her! I just love the conversation going on here, Ryland was so into everything with Auntie Rie Rie!
Lovin the cupcakes.
Lance and I walked up to the water with the boys that evening. It was so nice out. Such a perfect time to be in Mesquite. So happy!
That morning the Easter bunny found us in Mesquite. Rylands was in the oven
And Cams in the dryer.
They looked pretty hard for their baskets.
Found Rys
And Cams
Checking out all the new stuff
Trying out the new bubble machine, love this boy!
He thought this toy was amazing, so many bubbles
We had a great trip and loved spending time with the family. The boys can't wait to get back again already. Thanks Grandma Jo and Papa Tom for letting us stay! Fun times!
And I loved coming home to my beautiful flowers! So pretty! Happy Spring!
