Christmas Eve and Day festivities

I can't believe Christmas is over already!! We had a great holiday season and I am always sad to see it come to an end. We started Christmas Eve off with decorating some cookies for Santa. The boys loved eating the cookies and frosting. Ryland is getting pretty good at decorating now too! :) We only had a few cookies that got covered with a few too many sprinkles. Good work Ryland! My little frosted face boy! Love him! We headed over to Lances Dads on Christmas eve to celebrate with his family. It was great to see all the kids open their presents and get so excited with each other. The boys were super spoiled! Maddie was great to help them all open up their gifts. And we got to have Auntie Marie on skype, here is Ryland talking to her. Cam and Nana checking out Rylands car book. Nana gave Cam a geo trax set. He wasted no time trying to get his train to go on her train track. Showing the train to Pappy, he loves that train! Nana got Ry a wiggle car. Blurry pic, but you can tell how much he loves it. After all the gifts were open, Ryland settled down next to Pappy to watch Finding Nemo. Too cute! And the classic sibling picture. Jonny, Brenda and Lance All the cute little grand kids. They are getting so big! We had a great afternoon with Lances family and then we spent the evening with my family. We got there just in time to watch the grand kids do the nativity. Cam wanted to sit center stage at the start and then he was done. Silly dude. It was a cute little program and Ryland did a great job being a wiseman. All the grand kids. They did a great job, so cute! My mom surprised my dad with awarding him a silver beaver in scouting. He had no idea and she has been waiting for over a year to hear if he was accepted. He is going to get the award in 2013. It is a great honor and one that not too many people get. Good work Dad! We are all super proud of him. Love me some baby Rulon. Look at his cute new hat! We opened up presents and just enjoyed the rest of the evening. Camden kept stealing cookies off the table and then eating them under the table hoping we wouldn't notice he kept stealing cookies! Sneaky little dude! Doesn't his face just say "What, I am not doing anything under here" :) Yep, there is a lot of us now so we like to celebrate at the church. It is nice to have the extra space. Ry and Cam with Grandma showing off their new pjs from Grandma. Ryland was beyond excited about his mario kart pjs! Ry and Bubby, relaxing after a busy Christmas Eve Kelly and Cam, love these two. We of course stayed around to shot some hoops for a bit. Fun times! We got home and remember that we didn't put our bags in front of our house to light santas way. So Lance and I went out and got that done while the boys watched from the door wrapped in their blankets. Our cute little house ready for Santa to come! The boys set their stockings out and the cookies, which Cam is still begging for more in this picture! Ha ha! Here is the loot Santa left for the boys Christmas morning. Checking out the new toys with Grandma Jo and Papa Tom in the background on Skype. Trying out Mario Kart Ry was super excited about his new headlamp too! Thanks James. Camping anyone? Cam was tired and confused as to why we woke him up so early. He is ready to go back to bed here! We went back to Lances dads Christmas morning for the traditional breakfast there which was amazing as always. Nana and Maddie had set up Camdens train for him and he couldn't stop playing with it all morning. He and Pappy had a good time checking it out. Yep its pretty cool! Maddie was nice enough to play Mario Kart with Ry. He was a little obsessed with it Christmas morning. Cam and Nana Cam and Ry watching a movie. Cam and Maddie And we tired to get a picture of Cam and Ry with Nana, but ya, Ry, was not in the mood so we took what we could get. And the highlight of Christmas is of course taking to my favorite Elder. It was so awesome to skype with him again. And can you believe that he is going to be home in May!! We are all super excited to see him again. What a stud, love that guy! It was a wonderful Christmas. We had fun celebrating all month long and can't wait for next year. And can you believe the day after Christmas it snowed for like 3 days straight. We thought this was a lot of snow And Cam was not a huge fan..... :) but that turned into this! Crazy! Ryland made an awesome snowman for us though. Our cute neighbors gave us this snowman kit and Ryland thought it was amazing. We are the best snowman making team, that is for sure! We hope you all had a great Christmas!
