Did I mention that we got a ton of snow the beginning of 2013? Yes, we did, about 25 inches over 2 days to be exact. Seriously! It was crazy, I can't remember that much snow falling in such a short amount of time ever! It just kept on snowing! And all that was added to the nice base of 8 inches of snow we already had on the ground from previous snow falls. The schools called a snow day on Friday which has not happened for 13 years, that is how long it has been since we have seen snow like this. The boys tried to like it but really didn't care much for walking through snow that was as tall or taller then they were. They didn't last too long outside. :) They were good shoveling helpers for a while.
And yes, Cam refuses to wear gloves adding to the reasons he didn't last long outside.
The snow came all the way level to our front porch.
Yep, that's a lot of snow.
Check out the mailboxes! It just kept piling up.
And now we live in a frozen tundra and haven't seen temps warmer than like 20 degrees for highs in a couple weeks now. It. Is. Freezing! Can't wait till we see the sun again! :) The other day we had a backup in our kitchen drain. Lance is amazing as always and was able to work his way through it saving us a call to a plumber, yea! However the night we were working on it the dishes kept on piling up. So after it was all fixed I hired the best dish washers around town to help me get them all cleaned up.
Seriously, they were great help!
This little one had to have a snack break. Cheese!
Cam also thinks his life is grand when he can sit on our bed, play the ipad and have me serve him milk all day long. What a life huh?
Ryland also loves the said ipad and fell asleep watching netflix on it the other day. This guy must be growing again because he has taken a nap 3 days in a row again....seriously, that hasn't happened in probably a year. I am not complaining though!
The boys also love this spot to sit lately. Not loving that it is the stairs, but love their faces here! Ha ha!
We also saw jupiter next to the moon the other night. That was sweet. Too bad the camera doesn't really do it justice, but it was super cool to see.
And we are loving our winter fun at the discover gateway too. Yea for a place for the boys to run and play for a couple of hours when we just need to get out.
They love it!
