Cousin Adelaide comes to visit

Ryland had so much fun last week with his cousin Adelaide. She was in town staying with us for almost a week and Ryland loved having her to play with. Unfortunately, as usual, I didn't take a whole ton of pictures, but I got a few. They were so good together and shared really well. Ryland loved to give her different toys and Adelaide just loved watching his every move. She was good to deal with him talking to her in a super high pitched voice all the time. That is Ryland's new thing since his brother has been around. He loves talking to him in a super high pitched voice and anyone that looks to be younger then him. It is pretty funny. We had a crazy snow storm that resulted in an 8 hour long power outage while they were here. Thankfully most of it was overnight, but we had fun talking and chilling in the dark for a few hours before bed time. We loved having Brenda and baby cousin Adelaide here with us and can't wait till they come back again. It is so much fun to see how they play together as cousins. I am sure they will be close friends for many years to come!
We were taking pictures on the stairs and Ryland kept leaning into Adelaide like this....

Which resulted in Adelaide doing this...

It was great, she couldn't figure out why he kept leaning on her. Such an adorable little girl! Love this picture!

Sharing fruit snacks, they were so good together.

And a little movie of them playing with the balls together. Thanks Brenda for the endless games of throwing the balls up and down the stairs. They loved it!

And just a few other gems from this last week.
Just after Camdens bath.

The little brother is growing up way too fast. He is getting huge already.

Does anyone else have a child that loves to sort anything in some scientific order that makes no sense to you as a parent? Ryland had a great system going on these marshmellows for lunch the other day. He was even eating them in a specific order. It was hilarious!

And a 4 week photo shoot on Camden resulted in some hilarious faces such as this

and this.

You may remember seeing that same face from a previous post. If not, here is a refresher. Seriously, one in the same!

and we almost got a smile in there while I was at it. Such a cute kid!
