Lance and I decided to surprise the boys with a trip to Disneyland. They had NO idea we were going. We packed, got homework from teachers and everything squared away so the morning of we were just able to go.
They were super surprised, and so excited.
Cutest boys in the airport!
Camden was so excited to ride in an airplane.
He has been asking to fly in a plane like daddy for a couple years now! :)
We left early Friday morning to catch our airplane. Poor Cohen had to be waken up and was not happy at all about that. He cried and screamed the entire way to the airport! Thankfully he got it all out of his system because once we walked into the airport, he cheered up nicely and was good to go.
He actually fell asleep on the airplane which was a bonus for everyone! Ryland and Camden were so excited to be on the plane and it was a great flight. We were delyed taking off and had to de-ice so we were a little later than planned but all was good other than that. This movie makes me laugh of little Cohen having a hard time keeping his eyes open as we taxied over to be de-iced. He was sound asleep 2 seconds after this! :)
After shoveling a little snow that morning we were more than excited to land in sunny California! It was 65 degrees and beautiful! We rented a car, checked into our hotel and headed right to Disneyland. Lance and I were probably more excited then the boys about it. It took Ry and Cam a while to warm up to disneyland. And I think they were tired. We didn't last too long the first day. We were able to go on a few rides and see Mickeys parade.
We headed back to the hotel early to get some food and sleep and ready for the another day at Disneyland. Saturday we woke up to another beautiful day. We all slept great and were up early to get to Disneyland. We were literally some of the only people there for the first couple of hours. It was SO nice. We headed straight to cars land and walked on any ride and hardly had to wait to see Lightning McQueen, Mater and the Firetruck. It was so fun! Cohen had to give McQueen a hug, so cute!
He was in heaven!

Lance took Ry and Cam on the radiator springs ride which they LOVED. We got to ride it 5 times that day! The boys loved it so much!

Riding the Mater ride
The boys got to pretend to be army men in a little show. They took their job very seriously! So cute!
The longest line we waited in was for the Toy Story ride. It was worth the wait and the boys loved the talking potato head keeping us entertained while we waited.
And the awesome 3d glasses
And all the boys loved meeting Olaf.
Cohen was asleep for the 1st olaf meeting so he had to go back by himself. But so glad he did, he loved meeting him!
Lots of naps were taken at Disneyland by Cohen. We were so lucky he slept so well in the stroller! Looks comfortable right?

Ry and Cam got a few "rests" in there too!
On Sunday we went to the Beach with Lances sister Marie and James. It was heavenly! We celebrated Cam's birthday while we were there. Marie was so awesome to get him a cake and some party buckets and water bottles for all the boys. They loved celebrating and LOVED spending the whole day outside by the water. Cohens new thing is to love to get piggy back rides from Ryland.
Cam wasted no time digging in the nearest dirt he could fine! That kid loves to get his hands dirty!
Birthday cake for the almost birthday boy. Camden turned 5 the next day on Monday. Since we were going to be at disneyland all day we celebrated on Sunday.
He opened up most of his presents on the beach. Most of which consisted of legos, which he loved!
Hugs all around for a great present and party!
And Ry and Co went right back to wrestling on the nice grass. It has been so cold here, the boys just loved being out in the sun on the grass, so did I!
After the little party and lunch we headed down to the beach! The boys were so excited. They wasted no time taking their sandals off and heading right to the water. They stood there staring just like this for a while. Such a perfect moment!
Then they started getting their feet wet. The water was FREEZING, but that didn't stop them. They loved it!
Love it!
Cohen loved the water till he got knocked over and fell a little in the cold water. He didn't go back in the water much after that. But was completely entertained by the sand! He could have played in the sand forever and never have gotten bored.
He loved throwing it up in the air. He had sand in his hair for days!
Ryland loved getting wet and was in the water most of the afternoon.
And cute Cam was loving building sand castles and other creations with his bucket.
Lance helped him make this awesome tunnel for his dump truck to go through! Right up Camdens alley!
And what trip to the beach is complete without being buried in the sand. Camden
and Ryland
Ryland still loving the water. I can't believe he wasn't freezing, but he loved it!
And Camden took a little nap in the warm sun. Such a beautiful day for a nap on the beach! Especially with your head on a bag of chips! :)
And Cohen might have eaten a couple cups of sand! Good thing Auntie Rie Rie and Co had a system of washing it off his tongue when it happened. He went right to her to have her wash it off every time. So cute!
They were filming a buick commercial on the beach that day. Eventually they asked us to move back a little off the beach to clear the shot. I took advantage of snapping a people-less beach picture. It was such a beautiful day, and beach. I want to go back!
Such a fun day on the beach! We loved every minute! We stayed nearly 5 hours and the boys would have stayed longer if we could have. It was so fun!
Camden was so excited to get back to the hotel and do this! He loves Legos! And was entertained for quite sometime putting his new creations together!
Monday was Camdens 5th birthday and we headed back to Disneyland. We started the day off seeing Donald, which the boys loved. Cohen giving him a high 5!
One of my favorite pictures from the trip! Love these boys!
Classic Disneyland picture
The boys were also very excited to meet Goofy!
Hanging out in toon town while Cohen slept again!
If you are at Disneyland on your birthday, the give you a birthday badge with your name. Camden wore this all day and tons of people told him happy birthday. It was fun to be there on his birthday.
Ryland got a California Adventure badge!
And we found Mickey! They loved meeting him too!
Cohen had a nice long nap that afternoon. We got so many comments on how cute he was sleeping in the stroller. And lets be honest, he is super adorable!
And then he enjoyed some watermelon when he woke up. He was in heaven, loves watermelon!
We hit the lego store in downtown Disney for a bit so Cam could spend some birthday money. They loved all the lego statues.
Especially Cohen, he wanted his picture taken in front of all of them!
He loved this hulk though, so cute!
They also had a little lego building area outside of the store. Kids could build a car and race them against other cars. They loved doing this for a bit.
We met up with Lances cousin Wendy the last night. It was fun to see her and her daughter Morgan. They are disneyland regulars since they live right by it so they showed us all the good stuff.
Meeting Star Wars characters.
Such a fun evening with Wenday and Morgan
And so bitter sweet to have it come to an end. We caught the light parade again before we left. The boys loved the light parade. It was super cool with so many lights, music and favorite disney characters. The fireworks were cancelled every night due to wind but we had so much fun. Such a fun thing to do with kids. I loved every minute, so magical.
And what trip is complete without mickey mouse suckers? Love these boys.
Tuesday before we flew out we met up with Marie and James for lunch and hanging out on the beach.
We also stopped at a park and played some tennis with Marie and Wilson
Cutest!
It was hard to say goodbye to the beautiful beach
And sunshine!
And once again Cohen got a good little nap at the park.
And off on the plane it was just in time to catch the California sunset as we took off.
Goodbye to such a wonderful trip! We had the best time and I am already planning to go back. Definitely the happiest place on earth.
