We pretty much have the coolest tent ever. We upgraded this year because the 4 man just wasn't quite cutting it. So we decided we should go big or go home. So behold the best tent ever....
Yes my friends that is a hinged door. What a genius invention, to not have to zip and unzip every time you want to go in and out. Love that! And there is plenty of room to spread out with everything. It is great. Lance did good in picking us a great tent! We loved having Daddy with us all day!
Ryland and Camden both loved being with aunts uncles and cousins all day too!
We attempted to go on a hike that ended up being a nice stroll. Ryland loved throwing rocks into the river.
And putting lip balm on his chin
Oh and cheek too just for good measure. He rarely gets the lip balm on his lips. It is better everywhere else I guess!
Playing in the little dirt they had. Ryland loves sticks and was trying to write his name in the dirt!
Ryland loved the swings they had there too. He would have been on them all day if I let him.
We were lucky enough to score a hotel room just to watch this game....Thanks mom and dad!
And luckily BYU pulled off the 1 point win! Wahoo! This is how Ryland felt about the big win....Okay so he actually just can't get enough of his Grandma! He LOVES her as you can clearly see.
4 out of the 5 cousins born within 9 months! Aren't they all so adorable! And insert our other love for this campground in the kitchen. It was wonderful to have a place to put the babies.
We enjoyed a ton of YUMMY food all weekend too. Probably too much, but whats a reunion without a ton of good food and treats to eat all weekend? Camden sure didn't mind!
Ryland loved the dum dum suckers Grandma brought
My mom had planned several fun games and activities to do while we were up there. One of which was Glow Stick Tag. It was a blast. And don't we all look amazing in our glowing get up?
We had a great Sunday signing hymns and spending time together. Ryland got in on the singing action.
Scott decided to take his luck at running up to this sideways tree. He had to jump across the river and run basically straight up hill to get to it. At first he was going to do it in a minute, then 2 minutes 30 seconds, he ended up doing it in 3 minutes 48 seconds....not bad. He was way up there. The kids loved cheering him on!! Crazy boy and Trevor wasn't far behind him coming up in just over 4 minutes. Nothing like some peer pressure to get you to do crazy things! You can barely see Scott next to the tree there.
The nights were a wee bit chilly but it almost felt good after being so hot all summer. Ryland and all his cousins loved the movie they put up to watch.
The cousins were nice enough to watch Cars, Ryland's favorite. He had his movie, his popcorn and his blanket. This kid was in heaven!
It was a great reunion and we are already looking forward to next years. It is so fun to be together and not have a care in the world. We were all smiles all weekend. Thanks mom and dad for another great reunion!
